Biography
Scott provides a confident approach to guiding clients towards achieving their long-term wealth goals. Scott has more than 20 years of experience serving the investment and wealth management needs of affluent Canadian families, family offices, not-for-profit organizations, and corporations.
Scott has extensive experience in global investment management, estate planning and business succession having worked with two of Canada’s largest financial institutions with international private client locations. Scott’s prior experience managing domestic and international client service teams dedicated to investment and trust services, helps clients fully understand how Manulife Private Wealth will benefit their portfolio management and banking needs.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa with a B.Comm. degree, Scott holds a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation as well as the TEP designation from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. In addition to holding a Personal Financial Planner diploma, Scott has completed many other industry-specific courses.
Volunteer and community work includes service with the Calgary Homeless Foundation as board member. In the past, Scott has served as a board member for the Canadian Nurses Foundation, the Bruyere Research Institute, and the Ontario Duke of Edinburgh award program. He also assists in fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Residing in Calgary, Alberta, Scott is an active skier and cyclist.
