Sean joined Manulife Private Wealth in June 2012 as the organization’s first Investment Counsellor, and played a key role in setting up Manulife Private Wealth’s investment platform. Sean is also the Chair of the Manulife Private Wealth Investment Committee.

In managing portfolios on a discretionary basis, Sean looks to gain a holistic understanding of each client’s unique situation. He leverages his financial services experience to create comprehensive, goals-based investment plans while maintaining a strong focus on wealth creation, preservation and transition.

Sean has approximately fifteen years of portfolio management experience working with high net worth and institutional clients. He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and is registered as an Advising Representative and Dealing Representative with provincial regulators across Canada.

Sean grew up a highly ranked junior tennis player in Canada and secured a tennis scholarship to Michigan State. Sean also enjoys golf, skiing, and hiking, as well as spending quality time with his wife and two children.
