In her role as AVP & Chief Compliance Officer for Global Retirement and Canada Retirement, Toba supports the Canada Retirement business as well as the Global Retirement leadership team, including accountability for US and Asia Retirement Compliance. Toba has been with Manulife since 1998, initially with the US Retirement business Compliance team, holding progressively senior roles.
She has a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1991. She also holds a BA and a Master of Information Studies from the University of Toronto. Toba is registered as a FINRA General Securities Representative (s. 7) and General Securities Principal (s. 24). She is a member of the Global Retirement and Canada Retirement Leadership Teams. Outside of work, Toba enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, running and travel.
