William McPadden, CPA

Bill is responsible for the firm’s real estate equity and debt businesses, with overall accountability for the strategic management and operations of Manulife’s extensive and diversified portfolio of prime commercial real estate properties in key metropolitan centers throughout Canada, the United States, and Asia. He’s also responsible for the company’s commercial real estate debt platform, which places first mortgage debt on top-quality commercial real estate in major metropolitan areas throughout North America. ​Prior to his current role, Bill was the senior managing director of North American real estate finance at Manulife. He also has served in a variety of commercial real estate roles, including investment origination, portfolio management, and workouts. Prior to joining Manulife, he was a controller with the Krupp Companies and a senior auditor with Arthur Andersen. Bill holds the Certified Public Accountant designation.
